Album terbaru Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

Kabar baik nan menggembirakan bagi seluruh fans fanatic Avenged Sevenfold hadir minggu ini, gimana gak seneng coba? bayangin aja, setelah menunggu berbulan-bulan akhirnya hits single dari album terbaru Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare dirilis secara resmi di iTunes.com pada tanggal 18 mei 2010 tentunya dengan membayar beberapa dolar amerika untuk sekali download. Lagu ini berasal dari album kelima band ini, yang akan keluar 27 Juli 2010 mendatang.

Album tersebut didedikasi kan kepada The Rev.Yang menjadi sorotan adalah lagu berjudul “Fiction” (judul yang diberikan oleh The Rev sendiri) dan lagu pertama berjudul “Death”, itu adalah lagu terakhir yang dia tulis dan saat menyerahkan lagu tersebut dia mengatakan “Itu saja” dan itu merupakan lagu terakhir untuk proses rekaman ini. Tiga hari kemudian dia meninggal. Sebagian besar lagu sudah selesai di mixing oleh Andy Wallace.

“The new album, “Nightmare,” is dedicated to his memory and although it’s not exactly a concept album, it does center around The Rev. The eeriest thing about it is there is a song on the album called “Fiction” (a nickname The Rev gave himself) which started out with the title “Death.” And the song was the last song The Rev wrote for the album, and when he handed it in, he said, that’s it, that’s the last song for this record. And then 3 days later, he died. The guys have been in town mixing the album and are almost half completed with Andy Wallace.
